On 2/27 a world disaster occurred,an 8.8 earthquake occurred in Chile. An estimate around 300 people were killed and more than 2 million displaced. People are being assisted with search and the basics, such as shelter and water. Aftershocks are occurring and on the Richter scale measure 5.5 and 6.5. Two of the main effected areas are Bio Bio and Maule. The British Red Cross were kind enough to donate 50,000 as a immediate response.
